How to Set Up Tivimate Pro on Android Smartphone

Take your TV with you everywhere. This guide covers everything you need to know to get premium IPTV running on your mobile device.

Tivimate Pro is widely regarded as the best IPTV player for TVs, but did you know it also works on your Android phone?

While the interface is optimized for remote controls (TVs), it is fully functional on touchscreens, allowing you to carry your 20,000+ live channels in your pocket.

Requirements
  • An Android Smartphone (Android 6.0+)
  • Active IPTV Subscription (Don't have one? Get one here)
  • Stable WiFi or 4G/5G connection

Step 1: Installation

There are two main ways to get the app on your phone:

Method A: Google Play Store (Easiest)

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your phone.
  2. Search for "Tivimate IPTV Player".
  3. Tap Install.
  4. Once finished, tap Open.

Method B: Sideloading (Advanced)

If you can't find it in the store, you can download the APK manually:

  1. Go to our Download Page.
  2. Download the latest Tivimate APK file.
  3. Open the file and allow "Install from Unknown Sources" if prompted.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Step 2: Connecting Your Service

Now comes the fun part—loading your channels.

  1. Launch Tivimate. You will be greeted by the startup screen.
  2. Add Playlist. Tap the prominent button to add a new playlist.
  3. Select Login Method. Choose "Xtream Codes" (Recommended) or M3U Playlist.
  4. Enter Details. Input the Server URL, Username, and Password provided in your welcome email from us.
  5. Process. Tap Next and wait for the app to download channels, movies, and TV shows.

Step 3: Mobile Optimization

Since Tivimate is built for TVs, here are a few settings to change for a better mobile experience:

  • Change Player UI: Go to Settings > Appearance and adjust the font size if the text looks too small on your phone screen.
  • Buffer Size: If you are on mobile data, set the buffer size to "Small" or "None" to reduce data usage and latency.
  • External Player: If you have issues with sound or video, go to Settings > Playback and enable "Use external player" (like VLC) for better codec support on mobile.

Troubleshooting

Login Failed?

Double-check your credentials. They are case-sensitive. Ensure there are no spaces at the end of the URL.

Buffering on 4G?

Mobile networks can be unstable. Try switching to WiFi or lowering the stream quality if your provider offers SD channels.
